New York – Day 13 “Take me to the middle of the George Washington Bridge”
I actually spent most of this day finishing of the pictures for the previous post. Got to walk through times square on the way: crazy place, but apparently you have to see it at night time. Next time.
One of my alltime favourite movies has 2 scenes with the same joke repeated. Part of the joke has a character jumping into a cab and yelling “Take me to the middle of the George Washington bridge!”. I’d always wanted to see just what he was talking about and since I had a little time to do something unusual and since I hadn’t yet been to uptown Manhattan…. I made it in time for sunset. By the way – you really should see that movie.
